Dr. Christopher Magiera is a patient-centered practitioner with a mission of excellence in promoting, providing and preserving dental health.

The first step to good oral health is prevention. Preventing dental problems is less costly and more rewarding than correcting problems once they occur. Good oral health is the result of good habits, proper nutrition, and regular professional care. We are committed to ensuring your optimal oral health.

Dr. Magiera provides quality dentistry for people of all ages. We offer a wide range of dental services including; preventive (cleanings & x-rays), cosmetic (whitening & veneers), restorative (fillings, crowns, and root canals), prosthetic (implants, dentures, and partials.) We pride ourselves on our patient-centered practice and we back it up by choosing technology and continuing education courses that ultimately make your time with us something to look forward to.

Learn Who We Are

  • Colleen Norton, DMD


    Dr. Norton's practice philosophy is based on extreme excellence. 

    Dr. Norton grew-up in Avon, Connecticut and attended Georgia Southern University where she graduated with high honors earning her undergraduate degree in Biology. She then received her doctorate from University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine and went on to complete a general practice residency at Saint Francis Hospital in Hartford, CT where was awarded Resident of the Year and the William Rieger Award for her outstanding performance in clinical and didactic dentistry. 

    When Colleen is not practicing dentistry she enjoys skiing, hiking, attending sporting events, and spending time with friends, family and her cat, Jalapeno. 

  • Christopher J. Magiera, DMD


    After receiving his doctorate from Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Magiera went on to complete a GPR (General Practice Residency) at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine where he held a faculty position as Associate Clinical Professor in the Advanced Clinical Dentistry Dept. 

    Since completing his studies in 1995, he has been practicing here in Western Massachusetts. He practiced in East Longmeadow and Amherst before opening his own practice in Agawam in 2002. 

    Originally from Rhode Island, he met his wife and settled down in East Longmeadow to raise their twins, Emily, now a student at Syracuse University, and Daniel, now a Midshipman at The United States Naval Academy. They also have 2 rescue dogs, Dexter and HarleyBo. 

    When he's not doing dentistry you can find him tickling the ivories of a piano, playing hockey, cheering as a spectator at a hockey or Patriots game or using one of his many telescopes to gaze at the stars.

  • Stacy - Practice Administrator

    Stacy has been managing dental offices since 1988. The first 14 years of her career she worked for a prominent dentist in Longmeadow and built long lasting friendships with colleagues and patients. After marrying Chris in 2001, they soon decided to live in East Longmeadow and work together in his practice. His clinical expertise and her business experience have contributed to the success of this dental practice. She dedicates her 'free' time on the Board of Directors for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Springfield and is the Chair of their largest fundraiser The Festival of Trees. In 2004 she and Dr. Magiera were blessed with twins! Emily is now at Syracuse with a double major in Biology and Neuroscience.  Daniel is a Midshipman at The United States Naval Academy pursuing aviation.

  • Karen - Front Desk Manager

    Karen is a wonderful asset to our dental team and has been in the dental field for over 30 years. She graduated from STCC in 1988 with her certificate in dental assisting, she now has been our financial and scheduling coordinator since 2009.   She loves running, cooking, reading and biking.

  • Jen - Dental Assistant

    Jen has been a certified dental assistant since 1994 and with our practice since 2016.  She has an amazing husband and together they are a blended family, with Jen's twins and his 2 boys. Her golden retriever, Tyson, is her fur baby and a huge part of their family. Outside the office she loves to cook, enjoys crossfit and running, but most importantly, spending time with her family and watching her kids at their many sporting events.
